Someone had calculated that 6/6/2011 was the Day of Rapture in New York, and I inadvertently just landed there that day to visit family.
Stores offered Rapture discounts, there were street parties and crowds on Times Square were expectant
When the prophesied time arrived, massive grey clouds in the sky parted, and... it drizzled for about 20 minutes.
But who knows, maybe it did happen and we're all just left behind.
I remember I bought an R cookie cutter for "Rapture" that is now on my wall.
