…yet this is a part of coalition that some parts either have a blind spot on, or have active contempt for in ways I find quite weird.

I understand the arguments about vote efficiency and where Corbyn/Miliband went wrong, but it seems to go beyond that for a lot of people. 2/2

It's like they started with "hero" voters correctly identified as having a value of 2 other voters in a swing seat, & along the way decided those individuals were *actual heroes*. (Also ignored the point that the equation only works if you alienate fewer than 2 other voters for each "hero" you get)

It's a particularly mad version of the conviction that they love the *true natural* Labour coalition - which has always been people who want Regularised Labour - through unions or the public sector - for them/others ...

... but then, as they enter middle age, find that they don't have so much in common with the people who work in unions, many of which are now service workers and women or the public sector, who are graduates and again often women or professionals who support that (often grads and women).
