Got to meet more friends from VRChat which is great. It's where many of my friends are from lately, and love getting a chance to meet in person. Quite a few Dragons involved in that. I did miss some others, but I was being pulled in 100 directions it felt like, ugh. >>> - ThreadSky

Gold Level dinner was delicious as always. The gift was this super neat neon sign, I really liked it! Though I did a super stupid thing... I left both mine and Kailarah's AT THE HOTEL. I noticed after two hours driving away, called hotel to let them know, they said they would check. >>>

No Idea if they did as they never called me back. I then contacted them again when getting home and someone went up to look. No boxes. I'm just assuming that housekeeping thought they were empty cardboard boxes and threw them out. That's even more upsetting a thought. >>

I have reached out to someone I know about if I can see about buying a replacement and I'll keep my talons crossed. Pending that I might be looking to buy one from someone as I really liked them and feel really, really, really stupid at having left it behind, ugh. Kind of want to cry even. >>

My partner in particular is really taking it hard as they wanted to carry the signs themself instead of the bellhop having them on the cart for safety. We just missed them unfortunately on leaving. They've been really, really mad at themself. Made the car trip uncomfortable on the way home. >>

Mostly because they are mad at themself. I'm upset at myself for not realizing either. We had a friend coming with us so wasn't about to turn back around either after having driven two hours already. I've never actually gotten anything from a hotel I left though. The people just don't care. >>

Not that I can blame them. I've been in the service industry enough to know that. To many people just get numb to it all and just work blindly.

It's a bad industry to be in.

I just feel really stupid at myself for the situation.
