My partner in particular is really taking it hard as they wanted to carry the signs themself instead of the bellhop having them on the cart for safety. We just missed them unfortunately on leaving. They've been really, really mad at themself. Made the car trip uncomfortable on the way home. >>

Mostly because they are mad at themself. I'm upset at myself for not realizing either. We had a friend coming with us so wasn't about to turn back around either after having driven two hours already. I've never actually gotten anything from a hotel I left though. The people just don't care. >>

Not that I can blame them. I've been in the service industry enough to know that. To many people just get numb to it all and just work blindly.

It's a bad industry to be in.

I just feel really stupid at myself for the situation.

Made it home pretty easily, despite plenty of rain on the way. I've already spent over an hour holding my cat Simon and haven't gotten really anything productive done. Not even unpacked the luggage yet. Just exhausted! I'll worry about that tomorrow. >>
