This has confounded me for as long as I can remember considering it. Historically there are always more oppressed than oppressors but it doesn’t lead to anything for so long…
Throughout history, they have done their very best to get us to point fingers at each other rather than at them and to spread the myth of the American dream to get us striving for their approval.
Average intelligence is a thing. 50 percent are dumber. The other side has smart people, too, who are ambitious and want power. That ambition for power can be unrelenting, whereas we just want peace, so it's harder to rally than anger.
There are more of us than the monied minority, but I’m not sure there are more smart people than those who go with the flow, even if it’s right down the drain, rather than bother to be bothered.
Because we have been led (willingly in most cases) to believe that wealth equals intelligence and those owning the wealth should not be questioned about their intelligence.
Nothing is further from the truth.
One thing I realize is that part of the reason they are such dicks is to purposely make leadership/politics so unpleasant / undesirable that the best of us decide not to do it.
that's why they're actually going to lose. I don't know exactly how long it's gonna take and how much damage there will be along the way, but they're going to lose.
My partner said to me how in every imperial/rebel narrative the colonizers are ruthlessly ambitious and striving. The rebels have to be convinced they are enough to lead, every time. And I said to him - that’s what it’s like in real life too.
Their 'endless money' is from us in several ways.... directly from consuming products & services they sell or via government tax programs, grants & incentives. Gov't of course, is funded by tax paying citizens & some corporate taxes but they end up paying very little in many circumstances.

Nothing is further from the truth.
Why are we waiting for help that isn’t coming?
But, we're fixin' to get ready.
