The contracts as worst in the league is interesting. I imagine the Price contract weighs that down, possibly Laine’s too. Hughes’s contracts have been great and both Price and Laine end after next season. It may hamper Hughes, but he hasn’t shown it.

To be fair; Grant is slightly mistaken - it is supposedly FOR the next 3 years and not in the next 3 years. That being said, ESPN analysis is really poor, and it's sort of hard to know how or why they would rank ownership or contracts so low, and they seem to ignore how the core is signed long term
