I would consider refusing to serve on any federal juries in the next four years. In 1995, I helped send a man to jail on federal gun charges. I deeply regret that. Trump has done far worse than the man I helped convict, and yet he walks free.

I don’t get it. SCOTUS ruled the President is immune from prosecution for official acts during their presidency. Trump’s crimes are certainly not official acts as president. They are crimes against the U.S.. The GOP wouldn’t hesitate to charge a Dem President. It’s like you have 2 sets of laws. WTF.

SCOTUS 7 month delay on the immunity question was purposely done to help Trump escape conviction in the DC case on the insurrection. If Smith would have been able to bring the case to trial, Trump would have been convicted of 4 more felonies, even more serious than the 34 NY felonies.
