Democrats out-raised Republicans. Citizens United is definitely a problem, but not THE problem this time.

Democrats simply ran a no-change candidate who was more unpopular than Biden at a time when Americans wanted a change candidate (which Trump became).

That's on the Democrats, not the voters.
