James Comey. Merrick Garland. How important are the people who aren't the main actors? Garland especially. I wonder what their price was? Notice how quiet they are? Faded right into the bushes of history.
The first sin was the Senate not Impeaching and convicting. The second was the SCOTUS giving a convicted felon Immunity for any Presidential action which paved his way to openly conduct his reign of revenge and criminality for the destruction of our Constitutional rights and freedom.
If only the Supreme Court hadn't ruled in trump's favor on his presidential immunity appeal. If only Republicans in the Senate hadn't acquitted him after being impeached for Jan 6. There are powerful people who needed this moron in office so they could destroy our country and create fascist country.
My guess is Biden et al thought letting Trump run again by not prosecuting him for insurrection would be politically advantageous. The reasoning being, “Who in the world would ever vote for Trump?”
The greatest betrayal was that no legitimate effort was made to hold him accountable in any way. If they had tried and failed that would have been bad enough but to not even try...
The original sin was allowing a man who was guilty of sexual assault, fraud, and publicly calling for the execution of innocent black men to run for President in the first place.
