The sculpture features two adult bison and a smaller bison in the process of running. The sculpture is Wanuskewin Heritage Park. The area was used as a bison run for at least 6,400 years.
Erected in 1984, Mac stands at 10.36 metres in height and weighs 10,000 kilograms. The moose was named for Les Mackenzie. Mac is currently the world's largest moose sculpture, 31 cm taller than a similar moose sculpture in Norway.
