Great advice Simon. Winning governor in Virginia and New Jersey in 2025. Winning a democratic house majority in 2026 and winning Senate races in Maine and North Carolina (ohio? montana? Alaska? others). And in 2028 winning the white house, senate and house majority is what matters. Focus on winning.

The problem w/ your argument is the d party's near abandonment of several communities. Only talking about one community's pain makes priorities clear. Example: Their silence on Rep. McBride (a few have spoken out) is deafening. If they won't protect one of their own, I know they won't protect me.

This feels a bit tone policing. If that 'us' doesn't include intersectional identities, then it fails. Media has a big role in this. They must stop promoting his toxic brand. Stop plastering large pictures of his face whenever the story is about him--we know what he looks like, do not need these visuals 100% of the time.
