Only if they’re scared of their own shadows and this Government are displaying that trait on a daily basis. Let them be investors then circle them with aggressive regulations and enforcement for quality of both water, drainage and associated processes. And regulate hard!!!

I don't have a complete view of the legal picture but I'm not aware of any arguments which say nationalisation can't be done or is a bad idea. I think it's more Labour are institutionalised by neoliberalism and frightened of their own shadow.

I completely agree labour are neoliberal. The legal action I was thinking of was the forced arbitration through WTO, like when Germany tried to shutdown its Nuclear power

the commission will consider the use of co-operative and mutual models that will deliver better consumer rights of their water giving us real ownership- this is something the Green Party used to support sad to see them turning away from realistic solutions to grow the co-operative & mutual sector

Agree, but not public ownership of the debt the companies have. The investors have taken billions out, they can take the debt too. That's how it's supposed to fucking work!
