Oh man I am sorry to hear that. We have lost almost a dozen cats to old age illness over the years but it doesnβt make it easier each time it happens again. π
Just love her and keep her comfortable as long as you can. We lost our 15 year old cat Sammy to cancer in January so we let him have whatever food he wanted up to the end.
Yeah Cleo has bone cancer and its just gotten more and more aggressive over the last 18 months. She's lasted far longer than I or the vet thought possible
Even with all the cats weβve had to put down itβs still a heartbreaking decision but as pet parents we have to make it. You donβt want them to suffer but you donβt want to give them up. I always think you can see it in their eyes when they are ready to go. π³
Never nice to have watch them deteriorate but take some comfort from the fact she really has had the best time being loved by you now you just gotta stay strong to care for her x
