Not sure if I would qualify as a "tech bro" but I work in tech it's a pretty invaluable tool that helps me get my work done quicker and more efficiently.
It's not a matter of "loving it," more like, you use the tools you have available to do the job.
When I did tech interviews I'd always ask an incredibly difficult or obscure question that virtually no one would be able to answer off the top of their head to see how they'd respond.
Making something up was a red flag, "I don't know" was fine, telling us how they'd find the answer was perfect.
