Personally, I like it when folks post direct links, either to the articles they cite or to important matters cited in the article. For those that don't, if you can go to the trouble of sharing the news, why not make the actions easier?
Dugan told them they would need a judicial warrant, not the administrative one they had, according to the complaint. When the ICE team pushed back, Dugan told them they would need to speak with the chief judge, and the second judge standing with Dugan escorted them to his office.
She did nothing illegal and even if she did, the immigration agents are fucking Nazis. Whoever wrote this headline is nothing shy of a Nazi propagandist.
Maybe there will be some law firms with enough conviction to step up and help her pro bono? There certainly have been firms weak enough to cave to extortion of tens of millions of dollars in pro bono work for Trump.🤷🏻♂️
What qualifies you to make the judgment in advance of her trial that her behavior was illegal. Should I determine that you are a Trump rack based on this headline?
On one hand, Dugan’s defenders frame her actions as a compassionate stand against what they view as overly aggressive federal immigration tactics, particularly in sensitive court settings where due process and human dignity should be protected.
I’m happy to donate and Lord knows she needs it. But just noticing how inappropriate it is that the executive branch is abusing American citizens so much that defendants have to beg for funds to fend of fascistic abuse. More theft. More keeping everyone poor.
Because she’s following ethics rules, she’s not accepting donations from basically anyone she knows personally. The liberal order stuck with one hand tied behind its back.
Meanwhile, on the darkest front of humanity, a pale, weak money man who blows & blows & bellows dark, coal tainted air-words, has managed to magnetise plenty of free legal work from other weak minds & hearts - how many times has he & his "team" broken the law? So many times, we can't keep count.
I think it's a great cause to contribute to, but I have a very hard time believing that no one would do pro bono work for an actual judge's easily-won case.
Perhaps there is a prohibition against it in Wisconsin, but if not it imo would be a no-brainer case for any law firm.

I was trying to find where to donate.
This is a terrible headline. She did nothing illegal.
FBI +5000 agents
HS + 20,000 agents
National Guard +20,000 soldiers
Currently +20,000 ICE
65,000 ( and they plan more)
They will ALL will work for Trumps Project 2025
This is not for 'immigration'
This is for 'domestic use'
its for oppression of
YOU
Pack it in already, guys. It's over.

it's a misuse of power where the president of the United States is going after a political enemy because they pushed back on his own illegality
any media outlet not reporting it that way is failing journalism
