PS1. My Dad was never a gamer he actually didn't care much for it but I still have fond memories of him sitting down and playing Rumble racing with me as a kid. So that'll forever be my favourite.

I wasn’t here for this generation, but N64 has more games I like that I can list. I think I’d follow that with PS1 and Sega Saturn. I love some of the games on those too.

The best option currently (unless you have an OG PS1 and Trinitron CRT just laying around, of course!) is to use an emulator like RetroArch and download a fan-made 2D update. Murky waters, though, as with all emulation and fan-works. 😅

Definitely PS1! It was so revolutionary for it's time, for being both a console AND a CD player for the price of $299 smackeroos! The games blew the water out for many players and developers on what games can be. Plus don't get me started on what Japan was doing for the console. Sorry, autism.

Definitely N64. I absolutely loved couch multiplayer back then, and it had some great single player games too.

PS1, I only really played Final Fantasy and Gran Turismo games, and I played FF7 and 8 on PC first, so I didn’t even get a PS1 until FF9 came out.

My love for Saturn came much later.

I have such fond memories of the N64, Golden Eyes and Mario Kart 64. I mean that was endless hours of fun with my group of friends.

I don't honestly know. But I know 2 of the Zelda games have been remade for PC and one has been "Demade" for GameBoy. Now we just need someone to bring Hotel Mario to something more modern out of sheer morbid curiousity.
