Although IMO it’s more fun than Curb - I always found Curb almost painful to watch because it’s so cringey whereas The Studio has a sort of manic energy and warmth that appeals to me more!
I love Curb (can't stand Seinfeld), but I guess I see what you mean. I just find it similar in how it takes a very tortuous route to setting up the pratfall. The Studio is certainly more cinematic, from that shared premise. They also seem to be having great fun as an ensemble, Cranston is hilarious.
