Video from the fourth or fifth floor. There’s an entire additional wing so this is only about half. The decks are cantilevered, making it slightly terrifying if you’re afraid of heights, thus I didn’t spend much time getting the perfect angle 😂 it’s even more beautiful irl.

I had no idea about National Library Week! It's odd, I'm downtown at Albuquerque Main Library, and there's a paper sign saying all 19 branches of ABQ Libraries are closed today for "staff development". I'm nonplussed. Just in the hour I've been here outside charging my phone, tons of folks disappntd

I remember going to the Library (A Carnegie Library) in Tucson, in the early '60s...it had wooden floors that creaked as I, a tiny person! walked on them,..and made me feel like a Giant,..(only a tiny one).
..but,..in the Map Room,..I could travel the World..in Giant books.
