A lot of wasted potential there. The should have launched an entire family of models, including the RASCAL, the BLIGHTER and the LITTLE FART.

The basic 4WD pickup was sold globally alongside passenger car members of the Subaru 1600 range and was as rugged as they come. More sporty versions (without the jump seats of the BRAT) were also offered in various markets under different names, plus there were 2WD-only models.
