Kinda long, I'll condense. Went to a concert in 2008 in NYC and chatting with people in line, guy in front of me shared his first hand Madge story. July, 1983 he bought her debut LP at Tower in the village. Walking home, there she was with Jellybean having an argument on the sidewalk. 1/3
2/3 He stood back, Jellybean looked over at him and he asked if she'd sign her album. Mind, this is BEFORE Holiday and Borderline, she wasn't MADONNA yet. She bitched up a storm, but scribbled on his LP, but then he asked Jellybean to sign it too. "YOU SIGN THE BACK!" she yelled at Jellybean. He did
3/3 He gets the LP home, takes it out of the yellow Tower bag and realizes that she didn't actually autograph it, she just wrote "FUCK YOU!" on it instead. Everyone in line asked if the guy kept it but he said he tossed it and never bought another Madonna record again. Such a bitch, from the get go.

No guarantee to meet her, but my mother wouldn't let me accept an usher's offer (my tickets came from my father's bookie who had venue access connections, LOL!)
I managed music stores from 1992-2001 and knew some people at Warner Bros, and NOT ONE of them had a kind word to say about her, lol. In the 90's I met a bouncer at a club who got fired because she showed up and he thought she was just a drag queen, LOL!
