That feeling you've got is what the whole of the UK had with the school shooting that brought in our laws 20+ years ago.

We will see it here but sadly its such a regular occurrence in US its not headline news.

Agreed. I hate going anywhere, and when I do go somewhere, I can’t say I enjoy it. If we go to some event, the first thing we do is locate the exits, with a plan to meet up if we get separated. But it is easier to just not go.

Last shelter in place I broke the order and went on a walk with my dog.. just my section of town was locked down (my slum) I went by the highschool and the stadium lights were on and there was some kind of celebration. Only for the gun rights voters that come from the rich side of town tho 💔

MO has some of the laxest gun laws in the country. The best hope is for MO Dems to do whatever WI Dems to get new congressional maps drawn. Non-gerrymandered. The partisan maps make it harder for centrist candidates to win. Anxious to see WI results in November.

Fireworks such as firecrackers are usually consistent when going off at the beginning then slows down. Gun shots usually are also constant at the beginning but then slows down with a bit of a pause. Trigger finger gets tired. 👍
