I have no doubt he’ll try to hang onto power. I don’t recall any dictator that went down without a fight. All the more reason to end this now while we can. And who knows, there are clear divisions within his own ranks so maybe we’ll see a “Milley-style” resistance from within.

No law has changed that stops citizens from suing any of these agencies or from any bad cop being criminally charged. Consent decrees help good cops get rid of bad cops.

We have a consent decree in Seattle and the only thing on Propublica's list that I can't verify as having happened here is the debtor's prisons. The consent decree is worse than useless.

I respect our police. I also know there are some pretty bad cops, sheriffs, etc in every group. At what point do we identify the worse? Raise up the rest? Whom do we hold accountable for a few bad seeds? (ICE).
People need to take pics of these folks, findout their names and post them.

Sadly, it's not as simple as that. There are the worst cops out doing these things, but then the vast majority of cops are fully committed to let the worst cops get away with it.

If you dig into it you'll find that there's a police union vigorously defending even the most horrible and criminal cops, and that the rank and file of that union overwhelmingly support it.
