Of course, no one asked the unhoused people what they needed. No one asked tehm why they prefer to live rough rather than in shelters. In crowded shelters, people face theft and disease, plus vermin. Assault. This is not a slap to the people running shelters, necessarily, 1/4

it's just what happens when you cram too many people, who have been living rough and have various issues, into too little space with insufficient facilities. Talk to people! Encampments allow people to support and help each other, give privacy, safety. 2/4

Encampment sweeps take away everything unhoused people own, deprive people of medications, take identification, mementos, equipment. Talk to people. Get them involved in the solution. Empower them to help themselves and each other. They know best what they need. ID, showers, medical care, ¾

housing brings safety, health, recovery
of course there are addition things like food, access to health/mental healthcare - but first and foremost its housing
maybe a tiny house village for vets - studio apartment; house for families

I made up Pride & Joy Pedicabs, made from recycled metals, the poor contribute to make for themselves with help to learn to weld together. Covered, back w/ door to sleep in safely, rain catcher on roof, solar panels for fans. Can peddle for business to make money. Town needs land to store owners.

Learn from, Give and Take Vegan Food Pantry.
First, only serve homeless vegan food. The poor don't need to be part of torturing innocent animals to survive its healthier.
Second, security cameras.Third, run a tight ship, no bs, no disrespect, or they are out of there.Fourth, give them P&J Pedicabs.
