since theres been an influx in players with 3rd kits coming out i think its likely that the servers just have more traffick than usual and the connection issues should phase out

Splatoon gameplay is peer to peer based, the only servers involved that could really be overwhelmed are the ones handling matchmaking

I mean maybe but she is able to requeue thats part of the problem I thought, cause normal dcs should give a temp ban

Sounds more like a bug than a server thing to me but idk honestly

Yeah I am able to instantly join games again with no issue after getting disconnected. I'm not sure if the rest of the lobby is crashing after or not since this has mostly been in soloq but even then I shouldn't be assigned a loss or allowed to queue again. It just doesn't make sense and only just,,

Come to think of it I think this was happening to @thetomatostuff.bsky.social the other day when I was playing with him- most of the time the lobby was fine, it was like normal dcs but no ban

Started happening after this update so I'm unsure if it could be a bug or something. I've checked my Internet and Ethernet cable and everything appears to be good on my end

From what I’ve felt, this usually comes from the randomly-assigned Host of the room having unstable—since there’s more players, the chance of the Host’s net being weird is higher (most people don’t have Ethernet)
