This thread is about Salem. I'm directly from Mary Easty, Susannah Martin and Rebecca Nurse. I'm very familiar with their stories and I've done a lot of research on Salem.
None of them were witches by any definition and the only outsider hanged in Salem was Bridget Bishop.
Rebecca Nurse was a pillar of the community. 39 neighbors signed a letter attesting to her innocence. Rev. Dane in Andover was well respected as well.
