If they actually start refitting this plane to be Air Force 1, it won't be finished until the end of trump's term.
How stupid is that?
Arming trump's plane with defensive, and maybe offensive missiles, doesn't seem like a good idea.

I have heard that he ASKED for a new plane because he was all pissed that it was taking so long for them to get Air Force One updated to his liking ... and they offered him this one ... and I don't think he realized that he will have exactly the same issues.

Boeing has two 747-8 hulls, it's refitting them that is taking time. But if Donald wants to fly in a plane that doesn't feature an operating room nor advanced defense capabilities, then that is probably his decision to make.
