Don't know what the fuck you're talkin about im gonna be fr fr, my feed (animal pictures and game design people) is perfect, but maybe im just too used to tumblr where there is no algorithm

I'm happy that it works for you. But my feed is 60% filled with random post about topics I've never interacted with and the type of posts I do interact with based on my likes, comments, and RPs are always buried or don't show up at all. And manually tuning it does very little if anything at all.

my community move here from X over the past year and then slowly trickle back because the product simply doesn't work and doesn't serve their needs. It's mostly dead now. I used to get frustrated on X when the timeline made me scroll through crap, now I get frustrated on bsky 2/n

because Discover shows me crap. We've come a full circle. I honestly feel stupid for investing in this app and I'm this close to leaving because it's turning out to be just another spam site like X that doesn't value their users' time. 3/3

this is so true!!! my main issue is that discover just, struggles. i also don't like seeing nsfw stuff!! so much nsfw untagged content on discover and i dont want to see it! it makes me so uncomfortable :(

also.... stuff like the "following" page also really struggle, i keep missing 1/n

Yeah, it's a bit disappointing to see the devs focus more on low-priority new features than fixing bugs like this and improving the experience of the core product. It's supposed to serve you content you *want* to see, if it can't do that then you don't have a product, not the one you're advertising.

posts from people i followed constantly. hell, i'll see a post on somebody else's feed that i like, go to the page, and realize i followed them but never get any posts from them!! this almost never happened on twitter :(

I feel so bad when people are like "well why do you whine about some unprompted, untagged porn on your discover feed? at least it's not nazis!" and i'm like... yeah, that is true, but do i really have to choose between those two?
