NEWS: Trump abruptly assembled his cabinet today to let them know Elon MUSK is not in charge of hiring/firing -- they are.

It was an abrupt admonition that appeared aimed at the mounting legal scrutiny of Musk's power over the government.

I still don’t see how doge is a thing? Agencies are created by enabling legislation which goes through & is passed by Congress. There’s usually a cert issued as proof. This is an attempt by the idiot Trump to provide the idiot Musk legal cover from those lawsuits. The actual Cabinet secretaries will have some immunity from all the lawsuits coming. And access to government lawyers. If there are any remaining.

That has changed at least 20 times since Trump has been in office. They have denied in court that Musk is the head of DOGE but only to have Trump contradict them in public including last Tuesday. Trump takes it back. Later he says it again Musk heads DOGE. Musk is the same as a flip flopper.
