Totally agree. They accomplished a lot BUT they did not prepare for this moment where authoritarian leadership can exercise regular authority for their authoritarian means. They had 4 years to prepare courts, the handle issues giving republicans fodder, but he was too old by 2022.

Didn’t vote for them. They blocked Sanders who was a clear front runner and potential winner, and installed dead weight Clinton instead. They sidelined Sanders again in 2020, Biden was solid and won. But then they did nothing to stop federal enlargement and installed Harris, an absolute loser.

In the primaries yes, but they blocked him from the nomination. It’s a known fact and Sanders has said it himself. They worked with media and constituencies down ballot to dissuade people from believing Sanders was a viable candidate, they went in an information campaign AGAINST him.

Understood. Most legislative special elections tend to happen in solid red or solid blue districts, partly because there are so few competitive seats, but also because many special elections are due to incumbents *choosing* to resign midterm, which means pressure not to do so if the seat is at risk.
