He’s quite the moderate I’ve listened to him speak many times. D’s have been rather lucky to have him (given he’s a Republican). I don’t think that resigning now would be prudent- nor do I believe it’s in his character.

He’s in a heavily gerrymandered swing district. So he has had to lie out of both sides of his mouth. He was going to be primaried and face the strongest candidate the dems can put up. He may have been fed up but still voted the party line. Every. Damn. Time.
