I have once witnessed a micro shower, seen videos, didn't believe them until I saw it with my own eyes, lasted about 5 mins from first sighting, patch of moderate rain about 3 meters across, moved about 8 meters while I watched & then stopped, still, warm, sunny day it was...

I'm often accused of being -ive (with some justification! 😅😭) but... there's only ever a chance of Spring *really* starting once the daffodils die. I always look forward to that time. That's when everything comes alive. Mid-April to mid-May is the perfect time of year. Not long to go ☺️

Reminds me of being on a bus once through Glencoe. One side of the bus was sunny and the windows were bone dry, the other side the rain was stotting off the windows like a stream, and the sky was black apart from a very bright rainbow. It was like someone had drawn a straight line through the sky.
