Part of me thinks he hates the idea of stripping it down and rebuilding it. I feel like he'll make excuses for keeping it the way it is and allowing his family to use it until he takes it for himself after leaving office. Anyone saying "He can't!" Uh, he's done a lot he "can't" do. We'll see
Another part of me knows he loves spending taxpayer money to enrich himself, so I can see him demanding renovations simply out of a belief he's entitled to it. Keeping a plane with the capabilities of Air Force One as a private citizen out of office, though, just might be met with resistance.
Taxpayers' money.
It's going to be 12-18 months just to strip it down to the frame, and much longer for reassembly, for something that will never be used by a US president and will have to be undone bc he'll be a private citizen and not able to have all the defense, security and comm equipment.

Not to be confused with Caboodles.
Would be a bigly shame if the electronics fizzled out in flight.
He didn't mention that he'll have the only library card to check it out. 😂
