I was chatting w/a cousin who's excited that "Trump will end birthright citizenship".
I tried to explain that changing the US Constitution requires 2/3 of Congress, but she insisted that POTUS can veto a supermajority requirement. (WUT?)

All the immigrants in my family, who benefitted from an era of easy immigration, now slamming the door on those just like them. ☹️
One thing to note is that since this is a constitutional issue and not an executive issue, the POTUS plays NO official part in this.

Interestingly, almost all of them are in the western hemisphere, on the North and South American continents. So removing BC is actually unAmerican. 😉
