See tonight's BBCQT. Appalling chairing from Bruce. Farage talked over Campbell & had disproportionately more rant time. Say whatever about Campbell, but he tried to hold him to account. It was the Farage show. The camera kept panning to Farage more than other panellists.
Limited Company and the Media are promoting Reform as it looks after the owners interests. It is a dangerous group and could get to power. Especially with £100m from Musk.
Totally agree, was just thinking that when I read this.
A protest politician not unlike Corbyn was for most of his career, shouting from the sidelines but then elevated and thrust into the mainstream.
Hopefully the 'highlight' of Farage's career is behind him and he will crash and burn very soon.
Corbyn could be accused of ideology, but I’d point you to his last manifesto.
Farage is a traitor who forced corrupt Cameron into a corner and then sold lies to the nation for his own gain. A hedge fund manager masquerading as a man of the people. A democratic backslider, an asset to Russian.
that's because they can't recognise nor take responsibility for the problems they have caused and continue to subscribe to, nor how ghastly or dangerous their rhetoric is.
He’s that guy in the pub that’s achieved little in life, has pent little or no time finding out what the problems are, but has a loud voice the propound his theories. If he does look into things, it is only to reaffirm his opinions. For him, everything is simple.
He doesn't need answers .If Labour fail to take popular decision like public ownership of Water, wealth taxes in a more equitable system, single market ,foreign media ownership he'll be a shoe in next election without promising anything .(Note he's being platformed on QT again ) .
whilst i appreciate labour are failing to introduce desperately needed policy, it's not like reform are offering anything, other than a protest vote for the uninformed.
Reading Blair’s book on leadership. He makes the point that if centrist parties have a genuine grip on populist issues like immigration then populists don’t have oxygen. Love or loathe Blair he’s right. So why have to Tories an Labour failed so badly over the last 20 years…?
