Yes you found the main problem. The country will see the light and vote for…Trump. Time to stop the twisted logic and realize Dems lost power. Government shutdown would have made you feel better but likely would have given Trump and Musk what they want to axe more of the Federal Government.

OMG. The voters gave them the majorities they need to do what they want. You’re spreading a false narrative that the Dems have power when they don’t. A bill was passed to continue government funding at levels Dems would never pursue if they controlled Congress.

It wouldn’t have mattered from a political standpoint would be the best outcome I guess because the Dems would have to filibuster for years. When Reps had to lose to Dems I’m sure they wanted to fight but guess what? Their base had their back in elections in ways Dems could only dream of in 24
