This is 100% due to the electoral college.
The voters in big cities, other than those in swing states, are flat out ignored because their votes don’t sway elections.
I’ve always asked about visits to big city diners to meet those working class people. They should count.

not the main issue here but i'd really appreciate it if democratic politicians spoke out in support of big-city life and culture with the same energy and reverence that all politicians have for small towns
