A couple of observations:
1. Putin's emasculating characterization of Trump's response as "emotional" shows both a very informed understanding of Trump's psychology, as well as a disdain for it/him (cold/calculating sociopaths view emotional people as both weak, and easy targets).

"I will let you know in two weeks whether Putin is he is tapping us along or not. And if so, we will respond a little differently." - Trump.
A month ago, he also said it would be two weeks.

I wonder about "can’t diagnose the president or any public figure without personal examination".
I get the ethics regarding most people, but aren't some clearly ill w/o examination? Do we really need to have Jeffrey Dahmer on the couch before making an assessment?
When Trump is being manipulated, emasculated....he uses the word "us"........"tapping us along"....to deflect inadequacy and weakness.

He’s forgotten how to say “stringing us along.”
I’ve never heard “tapping us along” except in a more positive context.
When he REALLY wants distance, he’ll say “our people” or another 3rd person term as well.
Love your insights, Nick.
This part of his speech, where he brags about the Olympics and the World Cup coming to America, saying “I have it all” was so cringe-y.
