Aaargh! I finally, FINALLY have two genetically distinct plants of redring milkweed in bud at the same time, so there’s a chance I could get seed this year

BUT

they are being chewed down to stubble by monarch caterpillars, the first monarchs I’ve had in the garden since May of 2015.
