One of my favourites was over on that hell-site I no longer use. Someone posted a photo of a Lunar Corona(when cloud forms a near perfect circle in a cold, clear moonlit sky). Some muppet insisted it was 'weather manipulation' designed to poison us! No, just a rare and beautiful thing. That's all.
Sadly, it's everywhere. Deliberate misinformation that originated in the paranoid delusions of acid heads, back in the day. They were small in number and fairly harmless. The advent of global comms has turned a novelty idea into a dangerous mass delusion. And now it has big money behind it.
