He had a few good ideas. He was still Catholic and still thought that abortion was a sin even though their book says life begins at conception. Faith is antithetical to critical thinking, and religious fundamentalism was recently linked to brain damage.

Indeed. I feel the loss, in his passing. And yet, there is such enduring beauty and wisdom in his mindful embrace of compassion and humility.
