When I taught one year the science teacher and I did a cross curricular project on lithium mining. I taught social studies and we shared kids. It was awesome! #sunchat

I love this, when we were in "groups" I was able to do this but now I don't share the same students as many of my colleagues or they are on different topics due to pacing and student needs. #sunchat
It really opened my eyes to the benefits of cross curricular work, and the relevance of it for students and me. We were dealing w/a real world issue from the lens of science and social studies #sunchat
It's great making this connections and seeing the eye opening moment that the concepts we all teach actually have value! We are about to talk about rockets in STEM which goes with their quadratics unit in Algebra 👍🏻 #sunchat
