i genuinely feel like the distraction of fiddling with screens more than offsets any safety improvements that the silly intrusive driver assists deliver…
Airflow is quick and easy. Temp is quick and easy. IMO much better than buttons. Rarely needs adjusting anyhow.
There are only two things Tesla solved badly and this is wiper control and headlights (like activating fog lights). But I still prefer this to button-overloaded cockpits.
i feel like we have such vastly different tastes that we can never agree lol. i get annoyed at the primitive climate control in my 15 year old toyota work car because i’d rather the old 3 dial setup to manually set fan/temp/airflow mode. zero touchscreens in any of my cars!
I’m sorry but I cannot believe that you consider a vehicle with a physical wiper stalk and a headlight knob to be “button-overloaded”. I feel like we exist in parallel realities lmfao
I rarely adjust it remembers my settings with my profile. With the classic ones you have to re-adjust multiple of those vents each time the driver changes.
Also I think it’s quicker and easier to adjust in the first place, too.

Come on the EV6 has a lot more buttons than that, it even has this stupid ON/OFF button.
But I don’t think it’s necessary to fight over that, I already said I could live with that. I still don’t LIKE it
