JK Rowling & the Harry Potter thing is an absolute s*** show, but we need to stop throwing everyone who even touched the franchise in the same bucket. I understand the desire to want to boycott the anti-trans woman, but we can't Unite if people keep dividing over silly nonsense like an acting gig.
I don't believe a lot of people are throwing them in the same bucket, but it's worth noting that Lithgow is at every opportunity making clear that's the bucket *he* prefers. He's certainly not climbing in the bucket with his friend and their trans child -- "Heavens, no!"
I'm guessing you've seen anything I can link. When someone says that someone has handled a matter gracefully and when he meets her he would like to know how she manages it -- this combines 2 interviews -- I will infer he is embracing the association, and rejecting his friend's pleas.
