Where did you purchase your bike? I have tried twice to buy a bike and have been unsuccessful (Angry Catfish, nobody available to help me, Nokomis Cycle randomly closed on the day I went)
I tried to buy this from Angry Catfish (and had super helpful staff when I was there test riding other bikes) but it’s a discontinued color and they weren’t able to order it from Surly (bc it was sold out in my size).
Not sure if you’re looking specifically for Surly, but Tangletown Bike Shop sells them too and I know some folks who love that bike shop (I haven’t been there yet).
I know Surly is a decent brand, but I know so little about bikes anymore. I'm just looking for a decent bike that's not too expensive, since there is a sizable chance it will get stolen (like my last bike did 10 years ago).

And yet another weird winter in Minneapolis re: not enough snow or cold.
So maybe try AF again? Or Farmstead is great too!
I have bike insurance on this bike as it took me years to save up for & I want to be able to replace it if it’s stolen.
Buying a bike from a shop in your neighborhood is so convenient, esp to start that relationship if you need future repairs.
