YouTube (more Bandai?) is idiotically selective when it comes to issuing strikes. I lost my original account in the past over 15 seconds clips of stupid crap. It makes no sense. The only thing I can think of here is that they're gearing up for an official announcement over Urdr and want stuff gone.

Sorry to hear, though. Trying to file appeals is stupid. I think you have to divulge your identity to them, which basically paints a bigger target on your back (I know that's how Twitter does it if you want to counterclaim).

I do agree that it's probably because the OVA thing is coming closer (it'd explain why it was just Urdr Hunt and not the Side-Stories parts), my appeal was more of a "can we just take the struck vids down so the rest of my channel isn't caught in the crossfire" but even then I'm not super hopeful :/

Yeah, their three-strike thing never made any sense. Everything is automated as it is, so just nuking offending videos would be so much easier/less hassle. All the appeals are automated now too, so the only way to really get someone to look is to throw a fit on Twitter :/

I have the .srt files but the videos were too big to keep on my computer (i've asked someone who mentioned having them before if they still have them so we might be able to work from there)

Can't even try to appeal to get functionality of the website back because it asks for a URL of my suspended channel, which it doesn't recognize because the channel is suspended 👍👍
