Hey photojournalists! Has anyone been able successfully quit instagram? What are the alternatives?

I’ve posted on there maybe five times in the past 2 years. I don’t miss it. I spend that time instead building up my own website. It’s the only platform not at the whim of any algorithm.

TBH I'm really struggling with Pixelfed & Foto is only in beta.

But Foto looks the real deal & I can't wait to get on the next beta release.
