It's extremely frustrating to have virtually no interest in the remaining #Bears season. Every week it starts off with the game (crushing loss), embarrassing details about the roster/management, then recycled, ancient disgust at team ownership.

Again. Lol. How many times do we have to go through this? We are coming up on our 5th iteration of George's Fail-a-thon. Every time it drags on for a year longer than it needs to and we are left with the embarrassment of not being able to give a shit about football come October.
Then it's like ok, let's switch gears to the Cubs for a minute. Ope, they're doing something arguably worse - jerking off. The market's been obliterated by the Dodgers, Mets, & Yankees, & the Cubs are shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic for the umpteenth straight year. Oof.
I'm not even a White Sox fan, but I don't root against them, and holy dogshit. Talk about Bears Baseball. The best hope for White Sox fans is that once Reinsdorf dies, his kids will sell the Sox immediately. Until then? Fucked. Basement dweller franchise until further notice.
The Bulls, who I similarly am ambivalent about, are coasting toward some unforeseen nothingness, the NBA void, not realizing that they have been in the center of it for the better part of 30 years. Roster full of dead weight, untradeable assets, little-to-no future. BLEAK as hell.
The Blackhawks, who I have foresaken due to Kyle Beach, have apparently fired their coach after a fart.wav season with totally-earned-and-not-coordinated-once-in-a-generation talent being surrounded with retreads & hockey mcchickens. How the mighty have fallen.
I'm sure if I canvassed all of the major sports burgs in the country, I could definitely field some compelling arguments about suffering fandoms. But most fanbases in those cities have likely seen one championship in the last 10-12 years. The Cubs & Blackhawks sheen wore off really, really fast.
Even the WNBA's Sky squandered some goodwill by firing Theresa Witherspoon after a single season, pissing off their top star, and their reasons are "because it was time to move on." Jesus.
Also forgot to mention regarding the Chicago Sky: The WNBA has never, perhaps since it's launch, been covered with as much exposure and interest as it was last season. Witherspoon ties eras of the WNBA together, & Reese is nearly a household name. Yet they're fucking it up. Because Chicago.
I don't know shit about the Chicago Fire, but they just hired a new coach, so that's...fine, I guess? I know nothing of soccer (I'm not calling it football while I'm on American soil), but if they just fired their previous coach, I imagine it was for a reason that wasn't great.
