To me, stabbing someone 15 times in the chest, neck & face is attempted murder & the guy should spend the rest of his life behind bars.
"He took the knife out of his pocket. I ran away and he chased me with the knife and tackled me to the ground and stabbed me repeatedly," she said.
It took five men to drag Mr Jones off Miss Kirk and even then he tried to strangle her during the attack in Bath in February, the jury was told.
I would need to have it explained to me, like I'm 5 yrs old, just how the fuck this isn't prosecutable attempted murder?

I've even seen prosecutions for rape dropped by the CPS because 'he didn't touch her that much, only with his 🍆'
That's probably a really stupid question isn't it? It's always been like this, I just didn't notice.
The issue here was he got his story in first because she was too injured to make a statement for 15 days... She's then fighting his narrative not hers.
Not sure what that has to do with anything. 15 stab wounds is attempted murder.
This is madness.
And they wonder why women don't feel safe....even in their own bloody homes let alone outside!!!
We're under attack it feels
Physically, and our rights and protections
It's exhausting
He got his story in 1st?
She was too badly injured to give her story.
Complete madness. He should be locked up for life.
This is one of those all too frequent events that has me looking around wondering exactly wtf is going on.
It's a classic he said, she said. But if he says it first, she has to answer his narrative, not the other way around.
Sadly it's all too common.
I just hope whatever sentence he gets is a long one.
Totally preposterous
