Same tbh. The 3DS one comes close but the charm of the og cant be matched for me. I actually feel similarly for Rhythm Tengoku as well, though I acknowledge the later games there are mote polished for sure. But idk, the charm of the OGs are had to match
honestly yeah, one of the first official nintendo games i got for my GBA, dunno why but i personally feel that every other warioware just seemed to have lost the same kinda kick the first had
The only thing I wish is that it had a better all-mixed-up mode, GBA version only has some unconventional extras while the gamecube port set the standard of the AMU modes going forward
But yeah absolutely my favorite one, or at least my favorite one below WWGold which I semi don't count cause it's just a "best of" compilation without too much new stuff, but it's a damn good compilation
i love a lot of the other ones too its just mega microgame$ is so decidedly simple. it hits in a way the others dont. even twisted, which was on the same handheld
it's got the experimental charm to it, I'd wager
it was a novel concept straight from the sound blaster "prototype" if you may, and there weren't conventions in place that allowed things to be a little more freeform
the formula is standardized now, it's a bit more formal but still fun
for me it's gold, I love how they just gave us this huge compilation of warioware games and even gave us another way to play twisted without having to do emulation bs
the fully voice acted cutscenes too are just beautiful, I poured so many hours into that game man
