He really is.
So many people tell me 'yeah everyone has ADHD at the moment'. So dismissive without listening to people about their struggles.

I normally shut them up by telling them my son can't read/ write yet because of ADHD and that my 45yr old sister can't enter a supermarket because of it.

I do love when someone says to me "are you a bit hyper?", cos its fucking clear and obvious- that I was diagnosed at 4 years old to completely cut that whole "yeah yeah everyone is the alphabet nowadays"

Oh man, we get that one a lot too. And that also causes parents not wanting their kid diagnosed as they 'don't want them labelled'. As if ignoring it and pretending it doesn't exist helps in any way :(.

My sister has had a lifetime of mental health problems, when the issue has always been AuDHD.

Yes it will be. Whole series apparently. First one had me blubbing already. The young lad's 'Tombola man' description is an awful lot like my description and it got me blubbing.

A difficult watch for me, so much reflects on my life but the parental support was never there, the work colleague support never there. Still not had a diagnosis & I'm 66 😢
